Can my business sponsor Extra Life Winnipeg?

Yes! Please get in touch via the form. We accept financial sponsorship, prize donations, as well as donated services.

Can I host my own community event in support of Extra Life?

Yes, absolutely! Run your event your way, collect the funds, and donate to CHFM via Extra Life. You can create your own team for your event, or you’re also welcome to donate the proceeds via our Extra Life Winnipeg Events fundraising page.

If you would like Extra Life Winnipeg to attend your event, please get in touch via the form. We are a small group and may not be able to attend every event, but we’ll do our best. We can also support with things like flyers.

Where does the money go?

100% of funds raised by Extra Lifers in Manitoba are donated to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.

Will I get a tax receipt? (Individuals)

Yes! When you donate via DonorDrive, you are immediately emailed a receipt from Extra Life. Then, at tax time, you will also receive an official Canadian tax receipt from the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba in the mail. If you have questions regarding your tax receipt, please contact CHFM directly.

Will I get a tax receipt? (Businesses)

Our friendly representatives at the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba will be happy to help explore what kind of tax documentation you are eligible to receive when you donate to Extra Life! It can vary based on the type of donation per Canadian tax laws, but they have a team of finance wizards who will ensure you receive any and all eligible documentation. Extra Life Winnipeg can help get you connected with the team at CHFM for this purpose.
